Yuheng Akupanels are designed for near-zero maintenance. Unlike natural wood, they require no periodic oiling or sanding. For routine cleaning, a soft duster or a vacuum with a brush attachment is sufficient. For spills or marks on the wood veneer, use a slightly damp cloth with mild, non-abrasive detergent.
Yes, but with precautions. While the PET felt is highly moisture-resistant, the wood veneer is natural material. For bathrooms, we recommend using them in well-ventilated areas away from direct water contact. For extreme humidity, we offer a specialized WPC slat series that is 100% waterproof.
Absolutely. The PET felt backing provides a degree of flexibility. For wide-radius curves, the panels can follow the wall shape naturally. For tighter architectural curves, our engineering team can provide guidance on kerf-cutting the back of the slats to achieve a seamless wrap.
